Saudi Arabia's renewables portfolio has crossed 8.5 GW of installed and committed capacity, a milestone tied directly to the Saudi Green Initiative. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, head of renewables at ACWA Power, says the next wave will emphasise storage, grid-interconnect projects, and regional green-hydrogen exports.
